West Bend, Wisconsin Gilbert W. Carlson 1943 — 2024 On Sunday August 11, 2024, at the young age of 81, Gilbert (Gil) W. Carlson went peacefully home to the Lord, just after Mass finished playing quietly in his room. He was surrounded by wife and family, after a short battle with Kidney failure compounded by years of heart disease. He was born on February 3, 1943 to Walter and Esther (nee Nolte) Carlson. Gil was an avid hunter for ducks and deer, who loved his hunting dogs. He was an even bigger fisherman. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage. Rosendale, Wisconsin L. Kathleen "Kathy" Meilahn 1960 — 2024 L. Kathleen "Kathy" Meilahn, age 63 of Rosendale passed away August 4, 2024 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. A memorial service for her will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Rosendale United Church of Christ. Visitation 2 hours before the service.
