I have been working at Accenture for a year and the time has come to reflect on my journey so far. If you have experienced work life or have heard someone talk about it, you know for a fact that it is nothing like your school years except for how you must be disciplined enough to sive through your e-mails every morning. I can write a 1000-worded article about the nitty-gritties of team building and social interaction in your professional life and still leave you with nothing of actual use precisely because of the very nature of life. This is for any new joiner stepping into the corporate world for the first time or has been struggling to manage it as well as you would like to. You are only going to figure it out through your mistakes and believe me most of them who look like they hadn't made any had to pass through the same rite of passage. What can help you is a strong heart with enough resilience to stand afoot even when a truck load of criticisms make your way and a dedicated mindset towards learning and growth. If you are lucky enough, you will figure out the rest. I am only a toddler figuring out what professionalism is but i understand it can help a lot beyond my work life. I understand the line that bifurcates work from your personal life is very thin and the distinction is to be largely curated and customised based on your priorities. I understand I am driving the car that is supposed to take me to my destination l, however there are variables beyond my control that can affect the quality of the journey. I understand you are only in control of the next day as much as it is to affect your next year. "When you face a problem that is circ*mstancial, you face the reality of life, but when you face a problem that is recurring you face the reality of yourself"

Hi All, for one of my friend Srinivasan K there is a issue regarding Accenture workday portal as application already exist came, I resolved it pls follow instructions below Withdraw job application from Accenture :Directly through Accenture career website , you cannot withdraw your job application.Solution:Go to the myworkdayjobs portal of Accenturehttps://lnkd.in/gkN5-G8xMake an account like you would do for every other myworkdayjobs portalsDo not click on " Search Career " in the top right corner to search for new jobs in Accenture, it will redirect you to the buggy Accenture career site (their own one)Ratherremove the " /userHome " from the search bar link to this:https://lnkd.in/g_Sv-EVfNowsearch by " Job No. ******* " which you copied from the real Accenture site. and make new applications.here you can make multiple new applications and withdraw .no old application will be shown

I am super excited to announce that I have joined Accenture in India Accenture Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd as an Application Developer in the Software Engineering family group. No, it's not a FAANG or MAANG company, but it is a renowned top MNC. I consider this my first step towards building my career and achieving my dream of working at those esteemed companies one day. These past months have been an emotional roller coaster. Through all the struggles, I've learned to cherish every small success, as each one brings the strength to push forward even more vigorously. This period of my life has imparted a great lesson: patience. No matter how challenging the situation, with patience and consistency, we can overcome anything. I have always believed that everything happens for a reason. Though I started with a college placement in a support role and awaited results from a few companies, I am joining Accenture with a clear mind, knowing that what is meant to be will come to me.I want to take a moment to thank everyone who supported and encouraged me during these tough months. Your unwavering belief in me kept me going. To my family, friends, and especially Selva Kumar Arumugapandian ,Cloud Migration & Implementation Associate Manager, Accenture for guiding me from the day 1 of my application , your guidance, motivation, and clarity were invaluable.Yesterday was the first day of my corporate journey. 🌟 Reflecting on One Year at Accenture in India ! 🌟🎓 As a fresh graduate, stepping into the professional world was both exciting and challenging. The transition from college to corporate life had its share of hiccups, but I was determined to learn and adapt. Thanks to Accenture’s training programs, I found my footing.🚀 Work Journey : In my role, curiosity fueled my drive. I wanted to understand every aspect, learn new skills, and contribute meaningfully. Yes, there were initial challenges, but with unwavering support—from both my Team Leads and my amazing team members—I soared beyond expectations.🙌 Team Bonding : Beyond work, our team shared laughter, camaraderie, and memorable moments. Team lunches, outings, and late-night collaborations became the fabric of our journey. And here’s the twist: My initial fear of our Team Leads? Totally unfounded! Turns out they’re sweeter than a freshly brewed cup of coffee—jovial, friendly, and approachable. 🤗🌟 Personal Growth : This year has been transformative. I’ve honed my skills, but more importantly, I’ve learned about resilience, adaptability, and the power of collaboration. Accenture isn’t just a workplace; it’s a community that fosters growth.🔍 Discovering My Passion : My Team Leads played a pivotal role in shaping my journey. They recognized my interest in the field of databases and guided me toward working extensively on the DB side. Now, I’m following my passion, all thanks to their mentorship.🙏 Gratitude to Mentors : I owe a debt of gratitude to my seniors who helped me tremendously. Starting at 0 percent, their guidance and support have brought me to 70 percent (I’m not perfect like them—yet! But I’ll get there, sooner or later). 🙌🎯 Future Goals : Looking ahead, I aspire to become thorough in the Database field. Learning and growing in this area excites me, and I’m eager to explore every facet of it.🎉 Grateful for One Year : Today, I raise my virtual coffee mug (because WFH) to celebrate this milestone. Cheers to learning, laughter, and the occasional surprise challenge! Here’s to many more years of growth and camaraderie. 🥂🎂#WorkAnniversary #AccentureJourney #ProfessionalGrowth

When I was about to leave Accenture (I joined Accenture straight out of undergrad):- My manager just wished me good luck and asked me about my relieving date from Accenture:)[1] I was SHOCKED. As a fresher, I was expecting - My manager will ask me to stay back, increase my salary, offer me to stay back, etc.- BUT why was I expecting that? Because, it was my first job and I thought corporates can't survive when employees leave.- Later, I realized that it is a GIANT f***ing wheel and people just come in and go out.[2] But, over the years - I also realized that there are certain weaknesses that organizations have. - If we as employees understand those weaknesses, then our managers will ask to stay back, increase salary, offer stay back, facilitate work from home, etc.[3] You understand these weaknesses based on your experience:)For example - Service based organizations typically don't want to loose their client facing employees. Especially, the ones who have decent relationships with the clients.- Well if push comes to shove, nothing changes. But at least they will make an attempt to retain you.[4] On my latest video - I talked about a few of these organizational weaknesses (I talked about the weaknesses that you control and also that you can't control but still benefit from them).Link to the video: https://lnkd.in/gpeDmwYg

** Embracing Gratitude in the Face of Competition**Earlier, when I was scrolling through LinkedIn and admiring the achievements of others, sometimes I felt angry, competitive, and a bit inferior. Because of this, I found myself closing the app abruptly within just a minute or two, overwhelmed by these emotions. However, after some days,I came to a powerful realization. No matter what you're doing, where you stand in any organization, or what skills you possess, be grateful for your current salary and situation.Slowly but surely, you will eventually reach the dreams you've imagined.Until then, let's focus on learning and improving our skills. "Today, I find myself lacking certain skills, but that's perfectly okay because I'm actively working on acquiring them." Lastly, I wanna say to the universe and myself "I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work at Accenture. It serves as a powerful reminder that every experience, no matter its challenges, plays a vital role in our growth and development." "Has anyone else experienced this same feeling as I have?" 1

Signing off from #Accenture As I bid farewell on my last working day after completing around 2.5 years in Accenture. I am filled with mixed emotions. It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to Accenture. This company has given me some wonderful managers to learn from & amazing friends to behold for life. This has been undoubtedly the best start to my corporate career!!. Getting transformed from just a cheerful enthusiastic college graduate into a skilled corporate professional. Accenture has beautifully curved out the way for me.I have had the privilege of collaborating with some of the brightest mind in the industry, each interaction leaving an indelible mark on my professional journey. The Project I’ve been a part of have not only honed my skills but also broadened my perspective, allowing me to tackle complex problems with confidence and creativity. But beyond the projects and deadlines, it’s the people that have made my time at Accenture truly memorable. From mentors who guided me along the way to colleagues who became friends, I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by a supportive and inspiring team.Leaving accenture was a difficult choice but as I embark on the next chapter of my career, I carry with me the lessons learnt and the relationships during my time at Accenture. Though I may be signing off from this chapter, the experiences and memories will continue to shape my journey forward.Thank you, Accenture for an incredible ride. Here's to new beginnings, endless possibilities, and the everlasting bond of #AccentureAlumni. And here's to embracing the next chapter with renewed vigor and gratitude.#NewBeginnings #Grateful

After an incredible seven-year journey at Accenture, I've decided to embark on a new chapter in my career. Reflecting on this time, I’m grateful for the growth, the challenges, and the opportunities that have shaped me both professionally and personally.Leaving a company like Accenture, known for its dynamic environment and innovative projects, isn’t an easy decision. However, as I look back, I realize that the experiences I’ve had—both the triumphs and the mistakes—have been invaluable learning opportunities. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of adaptability. In a rapidly changing industry, the ability to pivot and embrace new technologies and methodologies is crucial. At Accenture, I was constantly pushed out of my comfort zone, whether it was leading a project in an unfamiliar domain or learning a new skill on the fly. These experiences taught me that being open to change is not just beneficial but necessary for growth.Another significant takeaway is the value of collaboration and communication. Working with diverse teams across various geographies taught me that clear, empathetic communication can bridge cultural and professional gaps. I learned that effective teamwork often leads to innovative solutions and that leveraging the collective strengths of a team can overcome even the most daunting challenges.Of course, the journey wasn’t without its mistakes. There were times when projects didn’t go as planned, and I faced setbacks. But each mistake was a learning moment, reinforcing the importance of resilience and continuous improvement. I learned to view failures not as endpoints but as stepping stones to success. As I move forward, I carry these lessons with me, confident that they will guide me in my future endeavors. I am deeply appreciative of the experiences and relationships forged at Accenture, and I look forward to applying this knowledge to new challenges ahead.Thank you, Accenture, for an incredible seven years. Here’s to new beginnings and continued growth. Accenture #learning #growth #career
